Weight concerns
If you are concerned around your weight, I can support you to make sustainable change to your lifestyle from a place of wanting to nourish and add to your body, as opposed to following rules and restrictions. Intuitive eating techniques and principles will guide the work we do. My focus is always on promoting self-compassion, healing relationships with body image, food, or other unbalance contributing to poor nutrition and overall wellness.
Pre and Type 2 Diabetes
The HbA1c test measures your average blood glucose (sugar) levels over 3 months. If your HbA1c is too high, you can be diagnosed with pre or type 2 diabetes. We can work together to lower your HbA1c, encouraging remission of diabetes.
Cardiovascular Health
High cholesterol is when there's too much bad cholesterol (LDL) and/or not enough good cholesterol (HDL) in your blood. We can work together to adjust your diet to increase the HDL and lower your LDL, improving your cardiovascular disease risk.
High blood pressure occurs when the force of blood through your blood vessels is to high. Over time, this damages our blood vessels. There are dietary strategies we can implement that support reducing blood pressure, which improves your cardiovascular disease risk.

I offer specialist treatment for eating disorders, eating-related difficulties and body image concerns in adolescents and adults. Support services for family and friends is also offered and considered an integral part of treatment.
Whether it is disordered eating or a clinical eating disorder, treatment is focused around medical stability and physical renourishment. This is followed by facilitating a healed relationship with food and self.
Disorders present mentally and physically in different ways for different people, and show themselves in a wide range of bodies. You do not have to have a diagnosed eating disorder to warrant support and care. I work to promote weight and body neutrality- all bodies are worthy of healing and if you have concerns around your relationship with food, it is worth a chat.
We can work together to:
Challenge food rules and restrictions
Identify and address body image concerns
Get critical around preconceived dietary ideals/ideas
Identify a sustainable and healthful dietary pattern that works for you
Support can be provided both in consultation and via an app designed for eating disorder treatment for extra care between our sessions. If warranted, I will support with finding a trusted recovery team i.e. GP/Psychologist, to ensure you have the best outcomes from treatment. If you currently have a treatment team I can work in with them to align with your therapy i.e. FBT, CBT-e
