About me

I was raised on the sunny coast of Gisborne, New Zealand. Moving to Dunedin to attend University of Otago, I completed my Masters of Dietetics and started my career in Primary Health, before shifting my focus to Private Practice.

I resided in Wellington for my early career, upholding contracts within private Bariatric Surgery at Wakefield and Bowen Hospital, ACC providers, Aged Care facilities, and General Practices in the region. I made the move back to the coast in 2023, finding my home in Mount Maunganui. Today, I work with specialist and GP referrals, as well as self-referrals. My passion is lifestyle enhancement for my clients, and I work across a range of areas providing this care. I hold a special interest and expertise in recovery from eating disorders.

Ethos

As toddlers we intuitively fed ourselves, regulating what, when, and how much we ate. As we move through life, this intuition can be lost due to disordered eating practices, medical conditions, or just general confusion with the wealth of conflicting information that is out there. Our work together will focus on additions to your diet and lifestyle that are supportive of moving you towards your goals, and regaining this intuition.

Far from being cold and clinical, I hope our sessions to be a place where you feel comfortable, and able to talk freely around your nutrition and lifestyle concerns. I aim to provide continuity of care and a trusted, therapeutic space, allowing you to work on your health while feeling supported.

I look forward to meeting you.
